20/20

Tomorrow I'm going in for Lasik corrective eye surgery.
I'm squeamish at the best of times.
Here goes.
Gulp.

Good luck! I'm anxious to hear how it goes. I'd love to do it myself!

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to be mad at you or not, but if you don't update us on how it goes and the experience, I will be disappointed. I'm dying to hear about it from someone that's had it done.

Best of luck and good juju from the states!

Good luck! Hope it goes amazingly well, but what will happen to the red frames? x

You are so lucky! I am super blind without my contacts...
Good luck! It will be fine! :)

Good luck!! I've had a few friends that did it and they were all really pleased with the end results.

Whoa, lasik?! Good luck! You'll be fine, and with better vision too!

It'll be totally worth it! Enjoy the super cool, super huge plastic granny glasses they give you. :-)

Yay for you! Good luck. I'm sooo jealous, I want lasik. I'm legally blind without my contacts or glasses! What are you going to do with your sexyredframe? :-P

Good luck . I sooo want to have it done.

How much you paying for it and where are you going?

Good luck! Aside from the loss of sexyredframes, that is. I really would love to have this done (I've worn glasses & contacts since I was NINE!) but it's expensive AND I'm terrified something will go wrong! But really, it would be fab cos I'm so blind.

Oh my, GOOD LUCK! I am also squeamish, and can't let anything touch my eyeball. But PLEASE let us know how it goes, and how it felt, and the results. So no more sexyredframe?

Hi there...

In addition to wishing you the best of luck for the procedure I want to thank you for all the lovely comments you left on my blog. I am so very pleased that it is being read by other people, particularly a fellow South African.

Hope all goes well and that the familiar morning blur no longer haunts you. I too am another glasses/contact lense wearing individual :)

But that is exciting. I love glasses but I hate not being able to wear sunglasses in the sun and contacts get dried out and annoying. Ugh.

As they all said: Please let us know!

Good luck!! You will LOVE it. I got Lasik about 6 months ago and am still amazed at how well I can see. I was totally squeamish, too, I was panicking IN the chair, but it was over so fast I didn't have time to get too worked up. Completely worth it. I'd do it again in an instant!

Oh, and take a nice long nap when you get home. :-)

Good luck! Unfortunately for me, my vision is so poor, I don't qualify. I'm green with envy.

Good luck and best wishes for a speedy recovery, my dear. Perhaps you can have the sexyredframes turned into sunglasses? I'd love to have this done as well so I dont' have to rely on my glasses or contacts.

i hope everything turned out well! oh, and I am glad that you liked the little feature of your wedding pictures that i did on my blog...they were so beautiful!

Thank you so much for all the good wishes! It went extremely well, the operation was relatively quick and painless and my doctor is very happy with the result and the healing. I am such a perfectionist that I'm having a hard time waiting patiently for everything to be PERFECT, but so far so good. I am sitting here typing away and have been driving around sans Redframes... watch out Cape Town! Full report will be posted soon, promise, but just wanted to shout out: thanks for the support lovelies!

Hope your eyes doing well
*hugs*
